Tasting Notes
Of the more than 20 Pinot Noir bottlings we’ve produced, this stands as the most compelling yet. Sourced from Ferrington Vineyard, one of the earliest plantings in Anderson Valley, perched on a well-drained rise, these small, mature vines yield an intensely concentrated expression of red fruit that lingers gracefully on the palate. The aromatics are beautifully layered: cranberry and Bing cherry lead, unfolding into dried plum, blueberry, and a whisper of rose petal. Crisp yet elegant in weight, the palate is framed by subtle notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hint of anise. While it promises intrigue with age, it is already drinking beautifully—especially alongside a perfectly roasted rack of lamb
